I love the idea of book clubs (but I’ve never considered joining one). I know that some are very serious, and some are primarily an excuse to get away from one’s spouse and kids and to drink wine and eat cheese and crackers. I am not married, and I don’t have kids. But I love to read, and wine and cheese and crackers happens to be my death row / last meal of choice, so I get the appeal.

Several people have said that they think THE TRUTH ABOUT PARALLEL LINES would be a good book club book. I guess that means it would go well with wine and cheese and crackers. To me, that’s a rave review.

Ae you in a book club? Do you know anyone who is? Go ahead and recommend TTAPL, and let’s see what they think.

Here is what I am reading (and I am really liking it so far).
